Induk KUD Indonesia: Strengthening Global Synergy, Supporting Government Programs

Jakarta, Induk KUD – A monumental step was taken by Induk KUD Indonesia as it signed cooperation agreements with several companies for the implementation of strategic projects in Indonesia on Wednesday, May 30, 2024, at Grha Induk KUD.

This collaboration includes agreements with FarmFresh Industries and Falco Global Partners for the supply of free food and milk for school children, with FarmFresh Industries for the development of Brunei Food Valley and food security, with Verdana International Limited for carbon credit initiatives in Indonesia, and with Alcove Investment Management for the development of a halal food platform in Indonesia.

The signing ceremony was attended by Portasius Nggedi, Chairman of Induk KUD Indonesia, accompanied by Secretary Sitatin Abas, along with Fernando Falco Beccali and Dr. Rene Eichenberger from Falco Global Partners, Dr. Nasir Latif from FarmFresh Industries, Dr. Nasir Latif and Asad Sultan from Verdana International Limited, and Jikun (Kyle) Hong from Alcove Investment Management. The event was witnessed by the Board of Directors and Supervisors, Dr. Ferry Yuliantono (Secretary of the Board of Trustees), David Wu (Secretary General of Induk KUD Overseas), business partners from China, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and other distinguished guests.

Following the signing, Portasius Nggedi stated that this collaboration aligns with the programs of Prabowo Subianto, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Induk KUD Indonesia, who will assume office as President of the Republic of Indonesia on October 20, 2024.

Dr. Nasir Latif, Chairman of FarmFresh Industries, highlighted that these programs would bring significant positive changes for children and society. "Investing in children's welfare and education is an investment in our shared future. Through the Indonesian School Meal Program, we are sowing the seeds of progress and prosperity for future generations," he said.

During the event, Dr. Ferry Yuliantono, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Induk KUD, emphasized the importance of the free school meal and milk program, which aims to improve children's nutrition, enhance human resource quality, and boost the national economy.

Ferry further noted that regarding environmental issues, Prabowo Subianto has committed to accelerating the achievement of the Net Zero Emission target, including reducing carbon and water footprints and promoting the use of bioplastics.

"That is why we are all here today, as a show of support for Mr. Prabowo Subianto in fulfilling his campaign promises with programs that directly benefit the people," he concluded.
